Frequently Asked Questions.
Everything you need to know about our launch roadmap, evidence verification, investigator guidelines, and community platform access.
Launch & Early Access
When is theunsolved officially launching?
We are currently completing private alpha testing of the core platform. Early access invitations will roll out in sequential cohorts starting soon. Waitlist members will receive priority entry keys before public registration opens.
How does early access invitation work?
When you submit your email on our homepage waitlist, you are placed in the queue. You'll receive a secure access key and sign-in link via email as your cohort opens.
Is theunsolved free to use?
Yes. The public commons, case browsing, question posting, and discussions are completely free for all researchers, investigators, and curious minds.
Platform & Case Files
What kinds of cases can be posted?
Any unanswered mystery or open inquiry can be published: scientific anomalies, unsolved historical puzzles, astronomy signals, cryptography challenges, lost internet media, and open-source intelligence cases that respect our safety and privacy policies.
How does the evidence and reply system work?
Anyone logged in can reply to an open case with evidence, hypotheses, primary sources, and cross-referenced files. Threads are structured to encourage peer validation and citation of verified sources.
How do we prevent misinformation?
Every case thread features reputation-weighted community moderation, evidence citation requirements, and collaborative timeline curation to prioritize factual analysis over speculation.
